Engagement Party

We have been planning an engagement party for a good family friend for a few months and the time has finally come! The party was at our house and my sisters and I were in charge of the dessert table and the rest of the food was catered.

I was so excited about the desserts, I could hardly stand it. I made a carrot cake, a chocolate cake, mini strawberry cupcakes, and iced sugar cookies. My sister, Jessica, made fabulous berry tarts.

Despite the rain, it was a wonderful night and everything turned out perfect!

p.s- I wish my pictures turned out better. I'm working on getting a new camera!

Fourth of July!

I hope everyone had a great Fourth of July! My family spent our long weekend at the lake and had the best time. Of course this momentous holiday wouldn't be complete without some patriotic cookies!
